      Great place to learn PE investing, but bureaucratic and tedious to work for

      Reasonable work life balance for PE standards Nice people Good salary

      Super bureaucratic, takes ages to make a decision No leadership - people tend to overanalyze every detail Consulting heritage means people want to make pretty slides rather than make solid investments Very competitive with limited room to grow

      Very demanding but lots of good people Supply b/fast and lunch and area to eat Great team Lots of great events work / life balance surprisingly good in the main Atmosphere generally upbeat

      Required to do ridiculous amount of personal stuff for MDs Lots of egos - takes ages to set up meetings in some cases because of the egos involved Little respite and some long hours Obvious bullying that was ignored

      Siloed No work life balance. Worked every weekend with no overtime. Burn out was rife Treatment of support staff absolutely appalling
