Pros

There are none. Owners and management are sorely difficient in running a business. They are unscrupulous. They use and abuse people without a blink of an eye, lie to their face, and close their doors to avoid confrontation. The almighty dollar drives the business, sacrificing quality and personal credibility with employees, customers, and members. This is the great case study of everything not to do in business.

Cons

They profess to have created an innovative, leading edge technology platform. What they don't tell you is that it was built over a decade ago, is updated in a piecemeal fashion to avoid major investments, and maintained by a crazy man that has no clue what today's market requires, hides in a dark office, and publicly berates employees without consequence.Their operations leader is the queen of manipulation, who buys commitment from weak people who would blindly walk to the gallows. The President is the weakest of the bunch, with no backbone upward, no presence or respect internally, and a buffoon externally.

Pros

Quiet work environment. Two hour lunches if you were in with the right people.

Cons

Left you to sink or swim. Managment could never make a decision as to the direction the company was going. Management would never help you or take responibility. They would promote unqualified people as long as they kissed the right butt.

Pros

Excellent benefits, never bored, decent pay

Cons

Sometimes it almost seemed like they were trying to fail., some of the decisions were so bad. With some of the leadership team. it was obvious that some of them were not knowledgable enough about absence management to be able to make the decisions they were making. Promises were made that there was no way anyone could keep, but everyone was unrealistically optimistic that things would work out. Even though a child could see the problems. The level of dysfunction high and as things went wrong, instead of trying to fix them, everyone just deflected blame and found a scapegoat. Being in the in-crowd, knowing the leaders from previous roles, and being able to act like you know everything, are valued far more than actually knowing what you are doing. Appearances meant more than results. A few leaders were not nice. They were fake. They picked favorites and had no problem treating people they didn't like or didn't think were important like crap.
