The scheduling system is a logistical nightmare with overbooking being a constant issue. Appointments are not monitored/filtered by anyone, enabling clients to make appointments for pets that need immobilizations or should be hospitalized. Expect to have 7-9 appointments on your schedule on any given day with no consideration for drive times (average 15 minutes to 1 hour in between appointments, one way), traffic/road conditions, multiple pets (range from 2-5 – by the way, this is still 1 appointment) or euthanasia appointments (you need to drop off or coordinate pick-up with crematorium service). You can also forget about getting lunch or even a bathroom break as these are not factored into the scheduling process. Requests for blocks in advance mainly get ignored by management as communication, training and support on ALL levels is subpar. The company is run by people with little to no experience in veterinary medicine that have unrealistic expectations of what can be accomplished in a mobile setting. It has a very high turnover rate, hiring new doctors as quickly as they lose them, and change is never implemented. You will be left to your own devices to figure things out as you go. They say they care about their employees, their clients, and pets. The truth is, they ONLY care about money and they are no different than any other large money-hungry corporate company, they are just on wheels.
