Pros

Nice enough office and view.

Cons

Each department acts like a separate entity with business support staff caught in the middle trying to facilitate. The firm tries to maintain the Legal Aid whilst pushing for private; again the departments vary and clash on this. Workload is high, pay is low and you'll be criticised if you stay late to keep up.

A great firm that woefully underpays

Pros

Bindmans is a lovely place to work, it is flexible, the work is good and the people are nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and people are approachable.

Cons

Those who have a legal aid case load and those with a private case have the same target. So one is able to make big bonuses and get promotions and the others do not. Usually the person doing legal aid works 3 times a hard. The pay is bad. It is not comparable with other firm's. There is a payfreeze from 4-8 years, for an unknown reason. A lot of people leave during this period, including myself. they will never maintain staff if they do not increase the pay so it is fair

Pros

Love the people, and the work life balance. Only positives to say about Bindmans, do not have many negatives.

Cons

Really not sure, as I love Bindmans work culture!
