High autonomy and trust to own hard problems Genuine mission; the work matters Strong investment in AI and modernization Frequent, thoughtful feedback and room to grow

Cons

Cross-functional scope can blur. "Own it" culture is great, but boundaries on what's yours vs. shared aren't always clear up front. Product/Engineering friction is real and persistent although it's been improving considerably as we move into a new way of working in 2026

Good place to learn, there are definitely some super bright folks around the company.

Cons

Opportunities for advancement hard to come by, feels like leadership is just doing their own thing. Culture used to be way more connected to the nonprofits, turning into just another tech company that overworks you. Staff turnover becoming a thing.
