Pros

1. The only good thing is that you will be get the chance to work on production grade feature and your work will be live to user very soon. 2. As a fresher you can join this company but only if you don't have any offer and you are desperate for getting the job.

Cons

Transparency: There is a lack of transparency regarding management-level decisions and the overall product roadmap. Information is often not shared with junior developers or SDE-1 level employees, which can make it difficult to understand the broader direction and long-term vision of the product. HR Structure: The HR function is managed by a single individual and she is the wife of founder. Due to this, employees may feel limited in openly discussing certain concerns or seeking clarity on policies. Appraisal and Bonus Policy: It is important to clarify appraisal cycles and bonus payout structures at the time of joining. Do not assume they follow standard industry practices. The company typically has two cycles for appraisal and bonus payouts, generally aligned with Q2 and Q4 of the financial year. Employees should not assume that increments or bonuses will be processed immediately after completing one year. Skill Development: For freshers, this can be a starting point to learn basic CRUD APIs, validations, and frontend development using React. However, opportunities to work on advanced system design concepts, modern architectural patterns (such as event-driven architecture), or well-structured design practices appear limited. A significant portion of development is done in Ruby on Rails, and technical decisions are often influenced by what they have done in ruby on rails. Work Culture: As a small organization, you work closely with the founder. While this offers direct exposure, the communication style of founder can sometimes feel intense or non professional manner. Work Timings: The official working hours are 10 AM to 7 PM. While employees are expected to start at 10 AM, leaving exactly at 7 PM may not always be viewed positively, depending on workload or expectations. If you start leaving at time you might get to hear that are you labour class you leave on time without completing the work. Perks and Benefits: Compensation is too low relative to the workload and expectations. Prospective employees should evaluate the offered package carefully before accepting. Job Security: Job security may be a concern. In certain cases, employees may be asked to leave immediately without being allowed to serve a notice period, and notice pay may not always be provided.

Pros

Honestly, The only upside was the paycheck arriving on time.

Cons

1. Toxic Management - The CEO and upper management consistently communicated in a desrespectful and aggressive manner. There was little to no professionalism in how they addressed employees. 2. No Respect for Employees - Feedback was often ignored or shut down, and employees were frequently spoken down to. Constructive dialogue was non-existent. 3. Poor Work Environment - There's a culture of fear, blame, and micromanagement. The leadership prioritizes control over collaboration, which demotivates everyone. 4. High Turnover - Many talented individuals either left or were forced out, creating constant instability and a lack of continuity in projects. 5. Zero Work Life Balance - Unrealistic expectations, overtime without recognition, and complete disregard for personal time. 6. Broken Development Process - The development methodologies are poorly planned and overly fast-paced. There is no proper testing process in place only manual testing is done, and tht too by the developers themselves. This leads to low-quality output and high stress.
