      Pros

      Interesting industry with projects with strong potential to drive much needed infrastructural change across the UK & I. Some fantastic team members.

      Cons

      Lack of married up strategy. Roles lack clear scope and deliverables with many roles rolled in to one. Frequent strategic disagreement between teams is common making it hard to achieve performance outcomes - some very senior commercial representivies will offer no support or empathy to help achieve the team or individuals achieve their objectives. Aggressive and confrontational culture at times which is lead by senior individuals who regularly called out employees front of eachother rather than private 121 conversations for feedback, driving a blame culture rather than collaboration. Very political.

      Pros

      Boldyn Networks is a genuinely nice place to work, with a team full of smart, talented, and supportive people. The culture is collaborative, and there’s a shared passion for innovation and connectivity that makes the work feel meaningful.

      Cons

      The company’s ambitious growth objectives aren’t always matched by the resources needed to achieve them. Budget constraints and headcount reductions make it challenging to keep up with increasing workloads. Although the organisation rebranded under a single global identity, it still struggles with legacy structures and internal silos. There’s a clear effort to improve integration and collaboration across teams, but progress has been slower than many would hope.

      Great people and benefits, but constant layoffs loom large

      Pros

      Some truly amazing people work here. Generous parental leave policy. This is based on a European model. There is now an American CEO so we will see how long this lasts. Pay is competitive.

      Cons

      Constant lay-offs. Employees hold their breath as the end of each quarter approaches. This is a small company so the impact is great and immediate. Communication from leadership has been very unclear and, frankly, misleading. This is not a forward thinking, innovative, profitable company. If that is what you are looking for, steer clear.
