Pros

Some great people, shame they aren't treated well

Cons

I've never worked at a company where there is such a gulf between the management team and the rest of the employees, or where the turnover of staff is so huge. Everybody is planning their exit. The culture is toxic. The management team have little to no experience/knowledge in the products - both media and events - and instead just blame and belittle well-meaning and hard-working members of staff. If they didn't lock themselves away they'd know they are openly criticised by a very unhappy workforce. A few great brands but even the events, some of which have been very successful, are now going downhill because they're trying to milk them for all they're worth rather than deliver real value.

Pros

If you brown-nose Simon (CEO) you are ok

Cons

- no proper processes for internal reviews etc - favoritism - No training and development - Editorial team (information Age) has no ambition and the publication has turned into pure Pay to Play - One big arm of the business is their Diversity portfolio and the publication for it has a briliant Editor, but the events are only money motivated and the diversity that is claimed to be championed is only and only to make money

Pros

There were no pros for a very long time but they responded well to covid

Cons

The management are very rude and promoted based on who sucks up to the boss the most rather than on merit. The workload is insanely high, morale is at an all time low. they took away our bonuses pre covid, they made half of the workforce redundant precovid, and only ever the ppl who were from last word before it was taken over.
