Pros

Highly experienced CRO who looks after sales He'll send you books to read Global team seems nice enough.

Cons

You will be a self employed contractor in the UK (no benefit, holiday/sick/pension) Despite the current climate in hospitality little to no help is given to you to achieve your goals. Very little sales training (once per week - call review) post the two week onboarding. Onboarding process is just learning the software and demoing it. Once this is done you are told no to demo to prospects and will essentially be an SDR for the Sales directors Two sales directors based in CAN are overly protective of their relationships with named accounts and will never introduce you to corporate. The Sales directors are not leaders. They are just very experienced sales people. You will essentially have to work the property from ground up. If you are not meeting the required KPIs you will be belittled in an email to the global team.

Pros

Everything is transparent at Book4Time, Great support whether you are working in the office or remotely. At HQ in Markham, you will see a great team culture, everyone works as one team and are always there to support you. CEO Roger, is always available with an open door policy and can be reached at anytime, which is great for an organisation which is growing so rapidly with its recent setup in the UK and with plans of expansion across other parts of the globe. The Sales and Support team cultures at Book4Time are great and are getting better and better as the teams grow to meet the demands of the market place. Customer service is always a top priority at Book4Time and I must say that the company is growing rapidly as are it’s customers across 65 countries. I have joined the company at a really exciting time and look forward to moving forward with it’s rapid growth and I can see greater opportunities at Book4Time in the very near future.

Cons

I don’t see any cons at Book4Time, I would say if you come in with a Work Hard, Play Hard mentality then the success is all yours at Book4Time. Missing out on the team socials at HQ when working away remotely, from outdoor activities/events to in-house BBQs across the summer.

Pros

Pay is on time, some nice people, small things like snacks and lunches, office is new

Cons

Not ideal if you're taking public transit, lower than average pay, nepotism, very stuck in their ways, opinions are not valued, buggy product, angry customers, understaffed, overworked unrealistic expectations, no forward movement and if it is it's just a title change for them to blast on social media. The biggest issue here and the root of most of these problems are from the owner, Roger. The man abuses his employees, in open sight and in private encounters. He will make condescending comments and use borderline abusive tactics to openly show he is the bigger person than you. He and other managers promise you the world in your interview and once you're in, they have you by the chains. You do as they say, until you leave at your will or theirs. If you go in for an interview and it doesnt go well, him and the cool club will group together and make jokes about the things you said in your interview right after you leave. How pathetic and unprofessional. All this defines a workplace with never ending turnover. People come and go "rapidly", a tale as old as its time. Lasting past probation is unlikely. 40%-50% do not pass. And making 1 year is 85% not probable. In the job postings they say they're experiencing "rapid growth". There's 20 job openings at the time of writing this. Is this rapid growth or massive turnover? It's all turnover...it is a weekly expectation for Roger to send an email to staff that someone was let go because they're not a fit. Yeah ok, has he ever thought maybe he wasn't the fit instead? All positive reviews are written by HR or their close friends who still work there. If you load your resume on indeed and it shows you currently work at book4time, Roger will get an instant notification that you did this and you'll be confronted the first thing next morning, and potentially terminated. Roger pays indeed so much money for advertising job postings and they offer in return notifications of staff trying to leave. I can go on and on but you get the idea. There's too many better companies that will treat you like a human. Just skip this dump and look elsewhere.

I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience at Book4Time. Your perspective, in particular how you felt you were treated really concerns me as much as I’m sad to read such a review. This is clearly not how we operate or treat our employees. We have a great culture and growth opportunity in our market. Our client retention rate is north 97% and our employee NPS score is 8.2 out of 10, this wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the hard work everyone at Book4Time puts daily. To anyone considering employment at Book4Time I encourage you to reach out to any of our employees directly via LinkedIn for feedback if you have any concerns. As for the reviewer, I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so I can better understand the context of your review. Thank you.
