Pros

Free drinks. I had to write 5 words here there is nothing else to add

Cons

On the outside the company looks great (high amount of users) On the inside the company is a complete mess and run like a school playground. If you are looking for chaos, lack of direction and backhanded politics you have come to the right place.

Pros

Good people in other teams, quite good brand and tech stack

Cons

lack of transparency and total zero responsibility of C-level of the Company performance - in Q4 2022 they suddenly close down the India office and laid off 30 people within couple of hours...I was working in a group where it disrupts very much our daily jobs... Then, at the beginning of the year, they laid off another group of 20+ in Europe ... CEO keeps continuing awesome narration about the great financial situation of Brainly and how our runway is stable...generally fake...and no one in C level took any responsibility for zero strategy and wrong decisions... The business model seems to be crap...company is not earning money for a decade now - so whose fault is it? I'm talking with a couple of other companies, so most likely within a month or two will leave anyway, but for those who're considering the offers, think twice...

Pros

- Really knowledgable team mates - Pretty decent technical initiatives - Really good salary and benefits

Cons

When things don't go as planned 40% of the company is fired, and upper and C-level management are untouched. There is zero responsibility and accountability from higher management. If product teams do not deliver sensible products, that is the fault of the engineers working in those teams, and not the upper and product managers who decide on what needs to be done. Due to "teams not delivering" there was a switch where upper management thinks of a product or solution and certain teams execute it without any input. No refinements, no product meetings. "Here is your task, do it". Brainly is currently the death of creative thought. Any kind of input into basically anything, even into technology decisions is not welcome.
