Pros

Free on site parking and overtime pay. Management is unorganised so if you wanted to you could get away with barely working. This could be a pro or a con depending on the kind of person you are.

Cons

-Management will frequently lie to and about you for there own gain. -Racism is rife at all levels of the company. -A lot of people smoke weed on site on night shift and management don't seem to care. Got told stories about specific named managers taking class A drugs on shift with members of the team. -No regard at all for health and safety. -No flexibility at all - you can't even choose when to take holidays. All are set by the company. -Very low bar for maintenance. Every machine is broken or under maintained so badly that they're constantly breaking down or having to be shut down because of poor quality output. The production team will then get the blame for low output when it's the bad machinery and maintenance practices that caused the problem. -Very unorganised. -I don't think HR are very good. Several people quit around me stating it was for mental health because of the way management and hr treated them. -Very very dirty with micro plastics in the air. You will end up will drastically raised levels of plastic in your bloodstream which is linked to a huge amount of long term health issues. I was told anecdotally by colleagues that there are much higher rates of miscarriage than normal in the employees and their partners. Supposedly linked to chemical off gassing of the plastic after its melted. -shift pattern is very antisocial. It's hard to keep a good work/life balance because you rotate from days to nights.

Pros

Only pro was finishing early on a Friday although never seemed to get away on time...

Cons

Inflexible for holidays as holidays are set. Staff were scared to speak in the office, not a nice environment to work in. Strict clock-in and clock-out system.

Pros

Short commute. Fairly well located.

Cons

Denied pay rise after "great annual performance review" no incentives to go above and beyond. Forced to take over half of allocated holidays on set dates. Terrible office/kitchen/bathroom facilities. Took 2 months of fighting with management to get fans in the office to regulate temperatures during summer months. Micromanagement. Colleague denied a pay rise after requesting one due to monthly childcare costs being higher than what she earned. Inability to work from home in technical department office roles when commercial, sales, accounts and marketing all get to. Hassled for being even 1 minute late, even if you stayed late earlier in the week. Company constantly talks about staff retention but offers no incentives to keep staff, whilst offering bonuses to new hires. Colleagues denied pay rises while company directors all drive fully kitted out electric porches. team leaders in technical get to work from home, yet members of their teams cannot.
