Pros

- There's always lots to do. - The company is very focused. - The CEO is also the founder so he really cares about both the business and the people. - The company as a whole is constantly to learning. - Very good culture where opportunities for community are provided. - Excellent people.

Cons

- This is a growing company so it's still learning a lot. If you aren't ready to wear an additional hat from time to time, are ready to be quite busy, or demand that all process already be well established, you should look elsewhere. - The hiring process is hard. They want a certain type of person here. This is generally a positive thing b/c they want someone that is excited, team focused and wants to do the stuff they're hired for. So that's who they have here. If you're not that person, you might spend a lot of time interviewing and end up with nothing... On the other hand, if you are, you should apply.

Pros

Culture and personality fit are highly valued here. With such a small tight-knit organization, leadership is very thorough and selective with the interview process. Work-life balance is emphasized, but that’s not used as an excuse for mediocrity: there are high expectations for the work being done. There are a lot of really smart folks on staff, so the level of conversation, creativity and innovation is pretty developed. The staff also does a lot together. It’s rare to eat alone or not have someone to take a quick break with. If you don’t like being friends with or highly interactive with colleagues, this won’t be a good fit for you.

Cons

As with any smaller firm, there tend to be some gaps in processes, particularly around onboarding and transitions. These gaps really aren’t around day-to-day activities. They’re one-off events that end up being frustrating or annoying when they occur, and they’re the kinds of things that larger organizations have cleaned up or addressed simply because they come up more due to the number of employees.
