      Pros

A few good colleagues who left

      Cons

Where do you start? No diversity and inclusion, no career development, no ability to gain any sort of meaningful experience. If you say "yes" to leadership then you're in favor. No one works together - everyone works against each other. So much rudeness and disrespect amongst people. The culture is so toxic, it makes it a very negative place to work. Poor salary, justified by RSUs, which doesn't make up for the low salary in reality. No scope for a wide job description as the company doesn't believe in thinking outside of the box. You're expected by directors to be available whenever they decide - you're not supposed to have a life outside of Broadcom.

Worst company I have ever worked for

      Pros

The only positive is money. Good RSUs bonus and pension contribution otherwise can't see any positives.

      Cons

Tons! To start with, it's a cost cutting oriented mentality and everything revolves around money. Nothing else matters, customers or employees, your value to the company is about how much money you can make them. Nobody seems to care about employee wellbeing or even trying to make it a decent place to work, so that people wouldn't leave. There is no career progression or personal development plans since the company is only interested in making as much money possible off you and then toss you away during the quarterly layoffs. The only way they keep people in is through an Annual Performance Bonus and 4 year vesting stock bonus options which you are often reminded that you'll only get at company's discretion. If you're the type of person who only cares about money and nothing else then this is the right place for you, otherwise run as far as you can see.

      Not the greatest company

      Pros

I was lucky enough to be part of a great team, and I had lots to learn from them. Although everyone is overworked, they always found the time to answer questions and help you when needed. However, not everyone is as lucky as I was. Good benefits. Company name looks good on CV

      Cons

Cut-throat company culture - hire & fire culture, no compassion, no care for their employees (forcing people to go back into the office during covid despite having the equipment to WFH just because they don't believe that people can be productive while working from home), lots of people being made redundant. Micromanagement - the majority of managers here prefer this management style. No work-life balance - they want you to dedicate your life to your job, expect calls in the evening (after 5pm) very often. No career development opportunities - very robust structure, difficult to progress - however, that doesn't stop them from giving you more work that's above your job title . Insane workload - you either develop unreal time management skills (and slowly turn into a robot), or you end up with burnout. No social atmosphere - everyone keeps their head down, everyone is scared of being made redundant, no Christmas parties, nothing to make you feel like you're part of an actual team. Lots of policies, yet nobody respects them. Some employees are very arrogant and speak to you like you're the most insignificant person.

      Pros

Easy going atmosphere I didn't have much pressure but this works both ways in terms of motivation and drive

      Cons

Went through the CA acquisition so was a very turbulent time and it just felt like a very unenergetic atmosphere.

The worst company to work for in the tech industry

      Pros

The only positive is the RSUs but you’ve got to survive a toxic culture and the constant RIFs to benefit from them

      Cons

Where do you start. The most toxic work environment I’ve ever experienced. Ruthless executive leadership. No empowerment. No resources. Terrible processes, systems and tools. Total disregard for employee wellbeing & mental health - forcing people into the offices during the Covid pandemic because they don’t trust people to work remotely. The opposite of customer centric.
