Pros

Strong and consistent deal flow and with the opportunity to actively contribute on European, US and cross-border transactions from the start to finish. Mid-senior team members value and respect juniors and will actively take the time to train and give you the skills needed to do the job, but also to help progress your career. Good team values and collaborative culture, with rapid career progression opportunities across all offices. Alike to the sectors that Bryan, Garnier & Co specialises in, the firm has a “disruptive” culture that goes against the status quo in bulge bracket or mid-market banks.

Cons

Business is currently suffering growing pains as it adjusts to new operational processes and structures for the next phase of growth in the firm. Working hours can be long as the teams generally have a top-heavy structure, but recruitment of more juniors to support deal flow is currently being actively sort!

Pros

Strong deal pipeline growth and focus on fast growing tech and healthcare sectors. Relatively flat hierarchical structure that allows for strong communication across all levels and ensures seamless cross border deal execution. Good team values and culture with rapid career progression opportunities across all offices. Salaries are in line with market and bonus is above average but subject to performance. Overall great team to work from analyst to partner level.

Cons

Working hours can be long but that is the norm across investment banking! Analyst program and cross office exchange are currently not available, but are currently being implemented alongside a market leading talent retention program. Senior decision making on operational issues can sometimes take longer than expected but this is due to ongoing rapid growth and a new structure across the firm has improved this significantly.
