      A Great Experience with a Talented, Remote-First Team

      Pros

      I genuinely enjoyed my time at Bud and would highly recommend it. The engineering team is exceptionally talented and collaborative, which creates a fantastic environment for growth and learning. The company has a well-established remote-first culture that truly works, supported by excellent communication practices that make you feel connected to the team. On top of that, the salary and overall compensation package were very competitive, and I felt my contributions were well-valued.

      Cons

      The company's primary focus is naturally on its backend systems. While this makes sense for the business, it sometimes meant that as a Front End Developer, our projects, tooling, and architectural improvements could feel like a secondary priority compared to backend initiatives. This occasionally led to challenges in getting resources or buy-in for front-end-specific enhancements.
