Pros

Good SaaS idea with the backing of the Schindler Group

Cons

Work environment is extremely toxic. Sales Teams often lie to the SLT about results. There is a consistent culture of undermining and dishonesty within Building Minds. Sales leader has limited knowledge for her position and it reflects on the company culture. Senior Sales leadership take the credits for everyone’s work in a doggy dog culture where everyone fends for themselves and isn’t allowed to question the status quo. Unfortunate because the company has a lot of potential for growth and success but is being stifled by individuals who have been there for a long time and rely on deceit and underhanded tactics to advance their own agenda. Anyone who is in the commercial team is at the mercy of two directors who dictate and control.

Pros

There are still some nice people work there.

Cons

SLT (Senior Leadership Team) is bad, they don't have a vision, they think they do tho, which is worse. They like talking but not taking any action. In the last couple of months they started firing many people, regardless of they are good or not at their job but mostly they "heard" something negative from SLT, or other employees of their liking. This is not professional. And the way they are firing you is amazing, they just tell your face, block / delete your accounts and you cannot do anything anymore. Fun.

Pros

- Funded by Schindler with kinda stable economic foundation - Diverse teams, although not within STL or upper management

Cons

- Office is outside the city and you're forced to be there three days a week (they track access cards) - Inhumane treatment of employees, firing for no reason and no feedback, STL and team leads have zero management competences or personal skills. - Product is dysfunctional and there's always a scapegoat employee/team to justify that. - HR never follows up on important matter. They rather pat themselves on the back for silly accomplishments like fruits/ drinks in the office. - Sustainability approach is highly questionable, whether in the product itself or employees competence or company practices.
