Our staff turnover rate is currently 10% with 90% of our current employees having stayed with the company for more than 12 months. According to national surveys, the average staff turnover rate for UK companies is 15%/year, making C4 Logistics below the national average and classed as having a “low staff turnover”.
As a company we value all our employees and take every possible measure to ensure workplace satisfaction. We believe this is why such a large percentage of our current employees have chosen to stay with the company in excess of five years.
The managing director stands out from others I have worked for. Not only does he have an experienced understanding of the core activity and direction of the business, but he also demonstrates the ability to understand and set the example in carrying out any of the supporting roles within the business. I have never known him to be unreasonable in what he asks of the team members. Basically, all he asks is that they carry out their work in line with the company procedures and training they have received. He also shown real humanity in showing understanding to team members who are dealing with family health issues, and also fully respects holiday time.
