      Pros

      C4Media has two world-class products for software developers - InfoQ and QCon. The company takes its culture extremely seriously, resulting in a remote-only work environment where employees feel very much part of a team. Tremendous benefits for employees including a 4.5 day working week and a paid sabbatical program.

      Cons

      Pace of work can feel overly demanding at times, and requires a great deal of self-discipline and personal motivation.

      Pros

      Working with the C4Media team has been phenomenal. Floyd (CEO) understands how to navigate the telecommuting world and how to support, engage, and empower his team members. The company stands by its core values, and hires individuals who naturally resonate with those tenants. Not only is C4Media concerned with its clients, employees, and contractors, but also with the readers of InfoQ and attendees of QCon.

      Cons

      Things can get busy sometimes, so there might be a delay in getting a response or moving some of the minor projects forward; however, the group is good (overall) about staying in communication and ensuring all are aware of their part in the bigger picture.
