Dull, hopeless, depressing, uninspiring place

Pros

The company itself is well recognised and once there, you’ll be on recruiters radar, which makes it easier to move somewhere decent later. Good central location. If you hurry up, you’ll get to meet some truly great and bright people there!

Cons

Never seen such highly staff turnover! Shambolic management with no vision or idea as to where they want to take this company, nor how they’re going to achieve it. It all looks like they’re just trying to survive (Shortsighted business decisions). The place is lacking leadership, there’s no guidance, and the Management has less than a vague idea about new products they so desperately launch (and fail). Top management is completely disconnected and uninvolved, yet, they come up with some fantasist expectations, while providing you with no resources or means to achieve it (outdated db, old crm, shortage of staff, no strategy). Targets are nothing but MD’s wishful thinking, based on no market analysis whatsoever. They are made to look good on paper. Shabby and filthy office with stained cushioned chairs, dirty walls, windows have cling film on the inside (sic) and you’ll be working with seriously old crm system.

Pros

Most of the people are fun to work with, good marketing team, some good producers and sales people.

Cons

Very negative culture, everyone talks about how much they hate it on a daily basis. While most of the people are nice there are a handful of people who make it an almost unbearable place to work meaning there's an extraordinarily high turn-over of people, new people come and go in a matter of weeks once they realise how terrible it is. The events are average at best, no one cares about the delegate experience so events are put on even if there's only 20 delegates. Launch events are regularly cancelled at the last minute, meaning months of work for nothing. Lots of ridiculous processes that make no sense that come from the head office in Canada and are followed without question
