I have been working at CACI (UK) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They are a consultancy but are working with big names so definietly you will get involved in some big and exciting network engineering projects. Also heavy focus on personal development if you're on the "bench" - waiting for a customer. People in the office are also very nice but you won't get to know them too much as you'll be deployed at customer site.

    Cons

Sometimes you might be asked to work further away from home which might be inconvinient but well, this is the nature of their business.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Cons

Very tactically sales focused and not very strategic.

I worked at CACI (UK) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I left as soon as I could

    Cons

Some of the worst leadership I have ever witnessed, culture of bullying, sexism and wholly inappropriate behaviour towards employees. Promotion of those who are in favour with management (they don't internally publicise roles they just give them to people). School playground culture, management openly accepting behaviour of colleagues as "oh that's just what they are like"

    Advice to Management

Change the culture, change the leadership, promote people of merit.

    Pros

its a job and it pays money

    Cons

no teamwork, reactive management, poor employment benefits

    Advice to Management

Support your employees and stop encouraging a bullying culture by your managers who overreact when you receive negative feedback from your clients. You should there to support your employees, and help them help you achieve the right outcomes rather than adding to their problems.

I worked at CACI (UK) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some good people in main office

    Cons

I strongly advise against joining the Digital Consulting arm of CACI. Firstly, the physical working environment is unpleasant. The office is run-down, the toilets regularly break or overflow, the kitchen is dirty. The culture is toxic due to the boss setting a terrible example. Aggressive and arrogant attitudes are rewarded. Spiteful remarks about clients and fellow colleagues are commonplace. People who come... in to interview are torn apart as soon as they leave the building (senior management joked that they found it hard not to laugh at one candidate as she was “so incompetent”). Promotions revolve around who the boss likes best. If you fall out of her favour, expect her to put zero effort into developing you or giving you a fair appraisal. Instead you will be faced with personal criticisms and no clarity on how to get a promotion (SMART goals seem to be a foreign concept to her). Heavy drinking is the norm and those who don’t partake, will not be considered for promotion. Female members of staff are rewarded for flirting with male clients or conversely told to ‘not make a fuss’ if male clients are sexually inappropriate towards them. If you do choose to join the business, make sure you have no physical or mental health issues which may cause you to be hospitalised or to seek treatment. If you do, you’ll be denied promotion at best or dismissed with no explanation at worst. There is zero understanding of or empathy for mental health in the business. Requests for therapy are routinely blocked or staff members are told to cancel their sessions to attend work parties. HR are purely there to protect management and profits for senior stakeholders. Do not expect any support for them even in the case of gross misconduct.

    Pros

The managers trust you to do a job and don't micromanage

    Cons

It's a very cliquey culture and the people in the clique are the only ones that get appreciation

    Advice to Management

Engage more with your staff and treat everyone equally
