Pros

Not much to say here. The computers we used were top notch. Nice big monitors

Cons

I was insulted many times for simple things. Told I don't know what I doing and why don't I try harder. So I tried to learn more and was then told I was wasting company time and money. My work performance, based on our customers was excellent, but if the customers didn't tell me , I would have never known because management doesn't mention a word. Everybody hates Mondays, I know, but I hated everyday. The management plays favorites and basically does not communicate with the ones that aren't in the "click". I travelled and was told to travel on the weekends. So I spent my weekends away from my family, and was never paid or compensated in anyway for those lost weekends. To top it off, I had my mother come to visit, and gave plenty of advance notice to management. A problem occurred on a project and even though there were others who could fix the problem, they made me travel out the next day to solve the issue. When I arrived, it was determined that the issue was easily fixable remotely. So I wasted my time because management didn't properly assess the problem and was not able to visit with my mother because when I got back, she had to leave. I left shortly after this incident as it was obvious that management had to idea how to handle work-life balance,

Pros

Not much at all. Good vacation days. 401K is nice.

Cons

This is with the utmost sincerity. Don’t apply here. This company is the strangest and rudest place I have ever worked. I felt like I was walking on eggshells the entire time. Nothing I said mattered, my opinions were worthless. It got to the point that all I did was the bare necessities just so I get a paycheck. I couldn’t wait to go home at the end of the day. The company has flex time but the VP frowns upon it. The VP has his favorites and those lucky ones actually get a hello and good morning from the VP while others a glare. Constant yelling in the office. The VP yells at employees, customers and it all very unprofessional. The office is simply an extension of the VP’s home. You are not allow to have pictures or coats or personal items on your desk. If you do, you won’t be told to remove them but you will be off the favorite list and get constant criticism for it. The turnaround rate is very high. Many people have left and replaced with younger and more inexperienced people. Once those people learn what they can, they soon leave as well. The work, while interesting, is constantly changing. One second you are on an important project, and the next you are told you need to fly the next day to another client. Then, 20 min later, they tell you to cancel the flight and continue working on the original project. This happens constantly. In the end, you never get quality work done. They have an office manager, and he hands out assignments, but then the VP will come by and ask “stop working on that, who told you to do that” in an angry manner as if it was your fault. It’s all so confusing and dysfunctional. Basically, as others stated, the place is being micromanaged to death. For a long time I was not going to say anything, but then someone linked me to this site and I saw that others had similar experiences so I felt the need to share.
