Good for students or those wanting extra hours around another job Travel money for drivers. Transport organised for you to events Often fed well.
Cons
The management are some of the rudest people I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. They speak to you like you’re an idiot. I’m not sure if anyone’s actually told them this, but some of us actually do know what we are doing. Some of the customers you have to deal with are even worse. The organisation of most events is beyond a joke. I’ve never worked a bar that has actually been stocked properly or had drafts that pour a decent beer. Management definitely have favourites when offering out work and if you’re not in the little crew of favourites say goodbye to your wages.
