I had a paid of glasses I would wear for client calls to help conceal the fact that I was crying on almost every one of my account calls, we could not deliver to our clients and management would not show up to these calls after being begged to do so. Most client calls were terrible, most days were terrible. Account Management was meant to be supported by Project Management but on any given day 50% or more of my project managers would be out of the office or wouldn't show to client calls. This made the role of account manager very challenging wearing several hats on any given day. I understand things have changed in the past several months and most of the account managers and project managers have been laid off without severance. I hope they are on to bigger and better careers.

Don’t get to comfortable. When the sh*t hits the fan, you are expendable and nothing but a number. Not compensated for the amount of work expected of you. Be prepared to work long hours No transparency (even though that’s is one of their “core” values) Operational changes almost on the weekly and then pivoting when things don’t work the way they expected
