Worst consulting company

Pros

You get $1K to buy a laptop every 2 years. Most of the consultants are nice to work with

Cons

Where do I start? - Absolutely no training on what you need to know to perform basic job functions. Whenever you make a mistake, you get reprimanded for not knowing the correct solution. How are people supposed to know if you don't bother to train properly? - Almost zero mobility upwards. - Managers don't even bother to hide favoritism. Also many managers make incredibly offensive remarks about minorities and women. - Upper management, starting with the CEO tell consultants to lie to clients about how much SAP experience they have. Junior consultants/new hires are told to not say they are new. Complete false advertisement and sketchy business practice here. - Managers don't care to help any of their consultants on work, especially new hires. All they complain about is "having work life balance" even if they are on only one project while their consultants might be spread between 3-4 projects. - No transparency on performance. Everything is about billable hours. Clients will sometimes relay feedback to managers and this never gets down to consultants. Consultants then get yelled at by clients for not listening to their feedback. - Managers are terrible at management. They would get fired immediately at any company that's half decent. They constantly lie to clients about time frames, get very impatient with clients and will actually tell some clients off. -Lie in their interview process as well. They talk extensively about their training period and certification. Once you start working, none of that is found.

Worst place ever !!

Pros

Flexible hours, great colleagues and great office location downtown, but that's about it and I'm not exaggerating.

Cons

Low pay, way below market. Management will tell you that it will eventually catch up to market but the truth is that it won't. They will also tell you that the company will spend thousands of dollars training you and they even put in your contract that if you leave within 2 years you have to reimburse an obscene amount of money, when in reality the company will not spend one dime in your training. They will put you right away on a project and you better not crash and burn. They will also sell you to clients as being an expert in the topic when you aren't. My only advise to whoever read this, is to stay away from this company cause let me tell you the only thing I guarantee you will get is buyers remorse.
