Pros

Friendly environment, lots to keep you busy. Flexi working hours are a bonus and hard work is acknowledged.

Cons

To some degree there is a lack of training so occasionally you feel thrown in at the deep end. But overall everything works out well.

Pros

Opportunities to progress, exposure to international markets, limited talent pool leaves plenty of opportunities for talented and ambitious colleagues. Remuneration is quite good although not applied equitably.

Cons

Frustrating beurocracy, lack of delivery even at board level is allowed. Quiet talent and delivery is often unrecognised whilst 'good talkers' get all the credit.

bad management , no organisation, lack of proper training, archaic machinery which is constantly breaking down or just doesnt work, new machinery which is not fit for purpose, there is tons of waste which could easily be halved by asking staff how to work things better and stop pushing it through so fast ! lack of supervisor support, faster faster faster is all you hear , pushing product through which is not fit to be sold , its all about percentage instead of the client, what they cant see is if they do it so fast the product is sub standard they lose the client and possibly jobs, this fact goes over most of their heads including the factory manager who has no idea whats going on, from production to warehouse it is a daily struggle to know whats going on. staff do not speak English and the rule that English only on the line is not policed because for most supervisors and line leaders it is not their first language, the apathy and lack of job satisfaction is awful and the negativity is thick around the whole building, pay is poor , you work bank hols and they have something called bank hours where you work a shift when they need you too, 8 a year, this is to pay for your breaks !! they want the skin off your back every day and some in there are treated like animals, in this job you are working for a company who does not care about anyone below factory manager hes the only one walking round smiling cant work out why unless hes just an idiot !!
