- Seychelles, although a small country with 115 islands spread across the Indian ocean has ‘small town’ environment, look and feel to it with almost the entire population of 90,000 people living in the main island, also the capital of the country…. A young family has not much too do if one does not like the sea that much!
- Although 'local employees' are really friendly, most of them are generally very lazy, with an 'island culture' mentality……..having less focus on work, deadlines and delivery and more on 'having fun' and 'enjoying life'…
- Difficult to find and recruit 'well educated, qualified' quality staff.... with the government not keen on giving 'work permits' for hiring talent from abroad… the more ‘educated’ of the locals generally ‘go abroad’ for a better professional life.
