Pros

I had decent hours and a short commute (though WFH was frowned upon for no discernible reason). Also, as a salaried employee, don’t force a one hour lunch and be timekeeping. Is my job done? That’s what matters.

Cons

Upper management is a complete disaster. Micromanagement is the main MO. Went to Mexico (I’d managed TN, FL, and MX locations for insanely low pay) and was laid off within weeks of return. Never earned what I was worth (post graduate degree with 10+ years of experience). I’m surprised they are still operating. Most of Ops is in MX now - which, fine. But don’t lie to people and dump them without explanation.

Poor Training

Recommend

Pros

Nice friendly co-workers and supervisors. Supervisors are as helpful as possible. Good atmosphere.

Cons

The training is insufficient because they do not and/or cannot allow the agents off the phone for long enough to complete thorough training. The result is that after one quick go through of a new account, you are thrown on the phone to handle it. At times, this resulted in enough mistakes to anger the new client, and then remedial training would be done in a piecemail fashion. At least once, the poor training was such a disaster that the client canceled immediately. That particular system was very complex, yet we were expected to handle it after one quick demonstration of it. This is while you are on the phone with a caller who expects you to know what you are doing, so it is stressful.
