Pros

Great benefits. Nice corporate office. Some nice co-workers.

Cons

A couple of the key executives are inept. The company is run by a hot-headed President who leads by fear. Instead of making thoughtful decisions he leads by gut and emotion. This makes any strategy impossible to execute. Worst place I have ever worked. And people were "asked" to write these positive reviews. Don't believe them. This place lacks integrity.

Carboline once a leader, now falling into a death spiral

Pros

Good RPM benefits, 401k matching, affordable health care, and even pension. Pay is competitive within coatings industry.

Cons

Ever changing personal makes executing a strategy next to impossible. HR has no control and the new President who creating a wake of destruction aka "change" with no clear strategy or vision. Beatings will continue until morale improves has become the new mantra.

Many great, hardworking individuals who truly care about the company. Good benefits, employee activities and overall perception of caring for employees

Cons

Inequities in pay in "favored" departments. President is erratic and doesn't think things through. Opportunities are there for employees if you are in upper management's good graces. If not, good luck. Until there is a change in upper management, proceed with caution.
