This company no longer cares about it's people.

Pros

Fairly good insurance. Employee paid for by company. Spouse and children do cost however.

Cons

Cannot believe anything coming from company officers. CEO is blinded to the goings on of the CFO and COO. Neither of which know anything about running a company or taking care of it's personnel. They are more concerned about throwing out the people who have been here for 20+ years and have been loyal to the company and bringing in younger blood. Age discrimination.

Pros

Insurance is paid for by the employer, but the deductible is high. Most regular employees are good people, but they are worn down from the negative work environment.

Cons

The worst upper-level leadership I've ever experienced. If you have a low-level job you can fly under the radar, commensurate with your co-workers, collect a sub-par wage and go home. Sadly, if you work within the range of upper management you will quickly learn that there is a lack of honesty and respect. The inappropriate words and actions of the CEO and COO are witnessed by everyone and shared quickly among the entire staff. The CFO stirs every pot he can, working both the managers and the other C's as it benefits him. CL is exhausting, if you're a weak person it will bring out the worst in you. If you're a strong person you will immediately start looking elsewhere for employment. Please keep in perspective any replies from CL staff, everyone there is doing what they have to do to survive, including misleading others while they themselves look for other options. This is my first review of a former employer, this place leaves a lasting impression that I hope you the reader never experience.

Two faced

Pros

They have a small gym on site.

Cons

The problems that I faced were that the people who work here are two faced. And the Pay was below norms. The pay is below current market value. Perhaps it’s because it’s a family owned company. Not sure, but don’t try asking for a raise, it’ll bite you in the butt. They give you smiles and laughed to your face and then talk about you behind your back. It’s the later that end up in your reviews too. I specifically found this to be the case in upper management.
