Pros

HR is fine - quick and efficient. Biz Development team rather friendly, communicative and competent.

Cons

QA team is absolutely inefficient. Too afraid to communicate with others - both internally and externally. Crazy, heh? Probably because they don't know what they're doing. Might also be a language thing on top. Was always hard to understand what they were trying to say. Explains why they never answer the phone. Need a lot of patience and perseverance here, especially dealing with the wannabe "QA leads" who hide own inefficiency by imposing high expectations on others. Attack is the best defense, right?

Return to office impacts team morale

Pros

Great teammates who work well together

Cons

As a valued employee at this company, I feel compelled to share my thoughts and feelings about the recent decision to force employees back into the office. To put it bluntly, I believe this decision is ill-advised and completely disregards the well-being of the company's employees. The decision to force employees back into the office seems arbitrary and shortsighted. Many of us have been working remotely for over three years now, and have adapted to this new way of working quite successfully. In fact, the majority of our employees are remote. There are many benefits to working remotely, such as increased productivity, reduced stress, and better work-life balance. By taking away our ability to work remotely, the company is essentially disregarding the needs and preferences of its employees. This has effectively ruined the teams morale Finally, it's worth noting that the decision to force employees back into the office seems to be motivated more by optics than anything else. I understand that there may be pressure from clients or investors to demonstrate that the company is "getting back to normal." However, I believe that this can be accomplished in other ways, such as hosting in-person meetings or events, without requiring everyone to be in the office weekly. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the company's decision to force employees back into the office. I believe that it is a short-sighted and unnecessary move that disregards the well-being and preferences of its employees. If the company truly values its employees, it will reconsider this decision and allow us to continue working remotely.

Here at CentralReach, we are proud of our hybrid workplace policy that enables employees to collaborate and innovate together in-person on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as enjoy the benefits of still working from home on Monday and Friday. While many organizations have returned to the office full-time, CentralReach has chosen to continue to strategically invest in hybrid policies because we know how important both are to employees and to our culture. We've learned and will continue to learn, what has worked regarding in-office time, remote work, and the combination of the two and how each, in their own respect, has impacted productivity, culture, growth, and our customers. As we've grown and matured as an organization, employee feedback has always been at the center of our policy and that will not change. We do understand that some employees enjoy working remote 100% of the time but we also have a large base that appreciates in-person collaboration. The proof is in the energy, innovation, and celebration that comes from our time together and differentiates our culture from others in the space. It is also because of this 3-day in-person collaboration and the way we manage the business, that we continue to grow and hire at the rate we are, while other companies have pulled back. Again, our hybrid policy offers the best of both worlds. We understand that this is not the right environment for everyone and we encourage you to speak to your manager to determine the right thing for you and your overall wellbeing.
