Pros
- Easy work - Co-workers are great - No push-back on taking PTO
Cons
- Low Pay - Company is small so there aren't really any opportunities for advancement unless the person above you leaves, which means you take over their responsibilities without much of a pay increase but a lot more stress as you do both jobs now. - No communication between sales and shop - HR/Payroll constantly mess up and you have to always check your payslip. The entire HR department was let-go/left earlier this year. - Company doesn't follow its own handbook, if there is something in the handbook that they don't like at the moment they will simply just not follow it. The company shut down for a week earlier this year because of the snow storm here in Texas, in the handbook it noted that all employees will be paid in such an event, they decided not to pay a single penny. - Company veterans and skilled workers are jumping ship, to replace them they hire inexperienced/cheap workers who simply become a burden on those left to try an train them, which leads to them leaving too. - Office bathrooms are pristine, but lord have mercy on you if you need to use the shop bathroom, toilets don't flush well and its 3 stalls and 3 urinals for 80+ guys. - Upper Management is neglectful of manufacturing
