Pros

Very hard to think of any pros.

Cons

I would recommend that anyone applying at City Projects does their due diligence in researching the company. In my opinion this company is a total boy's club where certain sexist behaviours are allowed and even encouraged. Use of religion by the owner in the work environment, which I personally find hypocritical as he often participates in sexist comments. - No overtime pay (banked hours are at regular pay) - 9 hour shift - Dust, smells, no proper ventilation - Inappropriate behaviours are allowed towards women and immigrants - Very high turn over, even for construction

Greedy maniacs

Pros

There might be some, but I haven't seen any

Cons

Operated by greedy maniac. Coworkers are rats reporting every fart, counting every breath, looking over your shoulder even on lunch so you feel like you stole it. Place is pretty racist too, so even if your English is good but your skin/last name is not white - be ready for fun. Not sure how it is on site, but thats how it is in their office

Pros

I worked with City Projects Ltd. as the Bid Coordinator and Administrative Assistant and I reported directly to the President of the company and Accountant/Office Manager. From day one I was treated with nothing more than top level respect and professionalism from all of my colleagues, I was provided with a clean, friendly, safe and positive working environment. As this was my first job working within this industry, I had a lot to learn, I was provided with efficient in-house training and managements door was always open. It was a pleasure to be able to walk into either office, be greeted with a smile and provided with the time, help and answers I was looking for. My employer is one of the most genuine, honest and caring employers I have ever worked for in my past 10 years. He cared not only about my work performance but he also took the time to meet one on one to discuss my work load, always making sure that I was comfortable and not taking on too much. He would always praise me and be very grateful and thankful for any work done. More importantly he didn’t sugar coat any errors in my work, he provided me with constructive criticism when needed and it will always be greatly appreciated. My time spent working with him and at City Projects has significantly added to my lifelong skillset. From my viewpoint City Projects values their employees so much so that they provide them with the equipment and tools required to perform their duties, schooling and further training required to enhance their work skills, a safe and positive working environment, competitive pay packages, benefits and generous vacation allowances. I am and will always be extremely grateful to City Projects for providing me with the opportunity to be part of their team, the skills and knowledge I gained will follow me throughout the rest of my career. I have made some lifelong friendships and will never forget the opportunity given to me by the team at City Projects.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of one negative thing to say about City Projects or the team!
