      Pros

      Long leash, friendly co-workers, reasonable expectations, and the insurance industry is pretty stable. The CEO took the time to take me to lunch. I left to pursue other personal opportunities, but it was a good job.

      The office space was underground, so a little depressing

      Dynamic environment, attuned to market, learning and risk-taking encouraged. Flexible remote working available but office is centrally located if preferred. Innovation is constant.

      Cons

      Small teams mean cultural fit is key. Colleagues become friends, so make sure you mesh.
