      Lay off situation

      Pros

      None i can think of.

      Cons

      1) Lay off happening. Every week someone or the other is asked to quit or terminated. 2) Arrogant CTO 3) Politics 4) No technical growth. 5) Layed-off some new joinies within a month.

      Pros

      If you’re lazy, unambitious, good at killing time or planning to retire, can play politics ... this is the Best Place to work for you.

      Cons

      Most of the smart people have left the organisation. Cleartrip has failed in retaining smart talent, as the anyone intelligent can see the company & management doesn’t have a vision. Either people have left on their own or they’ve been forced to leave . The company doesn’t care for employees at all. HR is just nominal, have no role, no say.. some of the most uninspiring and good for nothing set of people.

      This is how best culture turns to worst

      Pros

      Can't think of any as of today. Good place for people who are good at politics. * Don't get lured by previous reviews. That was a totally different Cleartrip with open culture, every person open to contribute in a discussion. But now its nothing like that so trust only last 4 months review. Which will be for Cleartrip today.

      Cons

      This can go really big.. Cleartrip was one of the best places to work till 1.5 to 2 years back. Things have changed drastically with new management micro-managing to the maximum possible extent. Full of politics, something which I am seeing for the first time in last 5 years. The new management in tech is firing people who were here for quite some time and were having strong say in all decisions. They are probably doing this inorder to create space for themselves in the company. Feels sad to see daily farewells at office. Now even security and admin people are asking "sir, why people are getting fired and why so many people are leaving"
