      CEO is a narcissist & company is failing

      - People are great (apart from CEO and SLT) - Snacks in office - Great location - Exciting industry

      Cons

      - CEO makes people cry in her office and it’s just normalized, even her co founder - SLT are sycophants who are too afraid to stand up to Thru - SLT will not support direct reports, culture is to throw everyone under the bus - Most people stay for less than a year due to leadership style of CEO - CEO’s reputation in chicago tech scene is REALLY ROUGH. Ask around before attaching yourself to a sinking ship - Business model is based on signing contracts they cannot realistically execute

      Freedom to lead engineering efforts

      Cons

      relies HEAVILY on low wage contractors management is borderline delusional CEO is verbally abusive was asked to lie in presentations codebase is absolutely abhorrent CTO cofounder has no idea what he's doing and will promise the CEO anything writing this after being away for a bit, shocked that they are still around considering their entire marketing platform is a complete lie
