Working at CollabNet is like altitude training for dealing with incompetence and miss-management. If you can survive here you can probably survive anywhere.
Cons
The brain drain at CollabNet is pretty much complete. The remaining team members are either just serving out their time or looking for their next job. The product portfolio from CollabNet has been miss-managed into irrelevance, and the Versionone products will likely go the same way. Clumsy attempts to cover up obvious and catastrophic failures of product management execution seem to only fool the management themselves. CEO and doesn't understand the market and forces Engineering into certain directions based on a fundamental inability to grasp strategic concepts and their applications.
