Pros
The vets practice good medicine, decent staff discount.
Cons
Turnover of exceptional staff for a reason. Management is corrupt, to say the least. Emails sent to management are shared with members of the team, gossip is so toxic and is at EVERY level- doctors, reception, techs, assistants, kennel staff, management. There is a group of mean girls that get what they want, and gets away with bad behavior because management doesn’t fire anyone. So then multiple people over many years, leave because management keeps friends employed, not hard workers that are smart and dedicated. Understaffed, very overworked, hardly any work/life balance. Profit and numbers driven. Quantity over quality, even if that means sacrificing staff mental health or physical health. Pay is terrible. You have to beg for raises which don’t even cover cost of living increase. The hospital will raise prices yearly though for clients, and not offer payment plans or care credit. Very cliquey, your ideas and opinions do not matter unless you are management or friends with management. Free ice cream and swag from drug companies were “pawned off” as management’s idea, or “from the owner”, but it was free to the company. Dress up days where employees were encouraged to do different themed dress up days, however employees had to purchase items for this, and then when they didn’t because they couldn’t afford it, they were looked down on as not caring about the morale of the company.
