Pros

Great mindset by all at the department, working together for a good cause. Plenty of events that benefited the mentally challenged and a real force in the community to help them with various aspects of their lives.

Cons

Can be a difficult job and requires patience/persistence, especially given the variability in available funding.

Pros

Pays well for easy job that doesn't require much brain power to do. I'd say it's a good environment if you're about to retire and just want an easy mindless gig.

Cons

Terrible work environment filled with horribly unskilled coworkers and supervisors who have no vision or any idea what they're doing so they constantly scream, yes I do mean scream, at each other for the most pointless reasons imaginable.

Cons

terrible CEO- sits at home, never goes out to programs, is in Sunshine list yet begging for more funding- large staff turn over- everyone is unhappy. New management people hired each week- no one knows what they do- no clinical support, supervisors are children. Upper management pas themselves on the back and has no idea what is really going on- this is a sinking ship thanks to Brad S- stay away from this place - very toxic, very unhealthy work environment
