Pros
The medical benefits are decent.
Cons
Upper management is completely incompetent. Part of the reason for that is they come from educational backgrounds completely unrelated to the field they work in. Most are very unqualified for the positions they hold, yet somehow they manage to get paid six figures. Apparently having a bachelor of arts degree in nonsense or going to the University of Phoenix justifies their compensation. The environment is very discouraging. Mainly because there is no opportunity for growth within the company. Those at the top make sure you never get ahead in the company. They make sure they shoot down any ideas or suggestions you have to make improvements within the company. They are also quick to deny you of a raise even if it is well deserved, unless your natural talent is hobnobbing and rubbing elbows with the right people, then somehow there is magically room in the budget. If you're an intelligent hard worker, and actually add value to the organization don't expect opportunity or proper compensation to follow. If you're a woman in this company I feel even worse for you. I've personally witnessed women in this company experience sexual harassment and discrimination. Not from men, but actually from other women in the company. The place is run by a ring of older women who are quickly intimidated by younger more ambitious talent. Most of those women can be seen coming into the office late with their Starbucks and leaving early, as if their high salaries demand a shorter work day. There are also conflicts of interest at the top, where family members work together or manage other family members, and of course family gets taken care of. I've witnessed many other unethical things at this agency, things I won't get into detail about here. Let's just say this isn't a place you would want to work. Employee morale is extremely low, the way employees are valued is extremely low, and nobody cares because everyone who should is complacent getting big pay to do as little as possible. Stay away!
