Pros
Very relaxed environment good work life balance good location in Cleveland with great views of the lake, even from the bathroom. Prospects get excited when they see the product for the first time. (as long as they havent seen competitors)
Cons
If you are looking to work here to gain experience don’t bother there is no development happening here. If you think you will come in and help change things and make an impact, think again. They don’t want to hear anything unless it’s you agreeing with what they are already doing. The product is....ok. Nothing crazy all the competitors can do what they can do(even though they say they are the only ones that can do things, it’s just not true) The company culture is a mess. Is is always so quiet it feel like a depressing library. People are afraid to speak and share their ideas because they dont want to get shut down publicly. This could be an easy fix but no one seems to want to do it. The company, is completely incapable of communicating effectively with the team. The vision in the mind of leadership of what they want to see is clear, but they do not know how to talk about it, and they do not know how to help the team make changes to get there. Instead, they resort to passive aggressive messages on Slack, sending emails/messages even when the team is sitting right behind them and not having difficult conversations. They say they want the sales team to make a bunch of money but do not align the comp plans to make this a reality. They had a great idea for the company but cannot lead, motivate or encourage anyone. THey think everything is going great because they dont listen to the team and take their concerns seriously. I am ok with the company changing directions frequently since it is a start up in an area that is new. But there is no transparency from leadership to acknowledge that there is a change happening, and what brought this on. This leads the sales team to think they are doing something wrong and are not performing well.
