Pros

Some of the folks who no longer work there are good people. Nice office and surrounding area

Cons

Usually when you get hired to do what was in the job description, you usually GET to do that job description and occupy THAT job title - instead has you doing something entirely left field and let's you go because they lied? The owner - Glassdoors guideline policies prohibit me to state why he is a Con (get it?).

Pros

If you are a new bootcamp graduate with no dependents to take care of and you can't land a job elsewhere then this place is an option to pad your resume. You'll learn a lot. The normal work week is 50 hours. Treat it like medical residency. However, as soon as you are able to jump ship, you are advised you to do so.

Cons

Their approach is to hire good Software Engineers at a discount and squeeze every ounce of work out them. If you are an experienced Software Engineer, there are MANY companies that would be much better for you. This company pays at the lowest end of the pay scale and the stress is ridiculous, and with no stock options at that. Leadership is extremely poor as they cannot retain good software engineers with leadership experience. Because leadership is poor, the codebase is a mess. No testing, no code reviews or coding standards, no performance measurements, no forward thinking or planning, no proper project management. The time pressure to get features out means that non of this is addressed and its a nightmare. The result of their short sightedness is bugs and bugs galore and multiplying.
