Pros
Working at CSG was some of the best and worst years of my life. First, the pros. Family atmosphere where people are eager to jump in and help at the drop of a hat. Some of the most hardworking, most dedicated individuals work at CSG. Individuals that should be making a lot more money elsewhere. The owner is extremely likable and hardworking.
Cons
The management at CSG is beyond moronic and unproductive. Most of the “leaders” have been put there just because they went to high school with the owner. The leaders that were hired externally were worse which I didn’t know was possible. The external leadership hires did a good job of making it seem like they were busy. Some of the most counterproductive individuals on the planet. There is a party atmosphere at CSG that is very weird, kinda feels like a frat house. There are rumors swirling of inappropriate relationships. The processes and procedures are a dumpster fire and obviously, that is due to bad leadership. If you are on the front lines and actually want to make positive changes, this isn’t the company for you. I’ve never witnessed a company hemorrhage talent like CSG. Seemingly 8/10 bright and talented people that are employed at CSG eventually get laid off in mass. The individuals that survive is due to 1. DEI 2. They are close with the owner. 3. They’re an attractive young lady. CSG is very clique oriented, it reminds me of high school which creates a weird environment in the work place. In summery. Don’t apply here. It’s a waste of time and if you’re talented you will be RIF’d.
