Pros

very clear structure, if brand new good place to learn

Cons

expect a lot, is a sales role, support depends on the quality of manager. A lot of them have got to their positions because of length of time, not their ability to manage. they love a pledge

Pros

Good Stepping stone to give you experience when you join a better estate agents.

Cons

Micromanaging is a huge issue, whatever you do it will never be enough. The staff turn over is extremely high due to mis-treatment and poor management. You will be a number, they will never care about you or if anything is going on in your home life. The environment is extremely negative and toxic with everyone being stressed and burnt out. You will be targeted on a minimum of 50 calls a day and you will be expected to do a million tasks at once which are completely unrealistic. They will send out emails to all of the offices with how many mortgages and valuations you have booked that day aswell as how many calls you have made. If you do not reach your unrealistic target, they will air it out in a negotiator meeting instead of offering support. They make you listen to your calls infront of everyone and get everyone else to criticise you on it. Promotion is extremely hard to achieve and it isn’t off your performance, it just works in a line and whoever starts first gets promoted first. You will never hear any positive feedback. If you raise a concern, it will not be listened to. The car allowance does not cover the amount you drive to viewings, leaflet drops, vendor visits etc. Just save your mental health and don’t bother, not worth the amount they pay.
