64% positive business outlook
Pros
Small company Positive vibe Good people
Cons
No tuition reimbursement provided for employees
Pros
great friends and experiences. I like that you can move up
Cons
bad management, sometimes people have too many responsiblities and others dont have enough
Pros
The work culture is great
Cons
I tested working during COVID didn’t get to meet a lot of people
Pros
Everyone is so willing to innovate! People here are so nice and all work really hard and it's infectious. The attitudes are fantastic! Our "town hall" meetings are even called "Yay" meetings, which speaks a lot to the fun atmosphere here. Did I mention it's fun and interesting all the time? The space is always evolving and growing and ControlScan is ON TOP OF IT! It's exciting to be apart of this company and they really work hard to stick to their core values. The work/life balance is really great too. People treat you like a professional and an adult and actually CARE about you as a person and employee. Yay!
Cons
There really aren't many but there's always room for improvement anywhere. Often times small companies have limited resources and from time to time you might do work outside your "job title" BUT this leads to more visibility and opportunities for growth. If you have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, you will do well here.
Pros
Nice people that work there
Cons
Need to think big picture
Pros
A close-knit group of employees who work hard and are committed to improving the company. Love them! Smart people who care about the quality of the work they do although many of them have left over the last few years which has really demoralized everyone.
Cons
Executives work in a vacuum and truly don't care about the employees. They talk a good talk but the walk is almost non-existent. They are obsessed with appearances. The fact that they have created phony reviews on Glassdoor and pressure others to do the same says all you need to know about this small group of executives. They simply need to leave so the company can grow and move forward.
Pros
Some really good people, flexibility, benefits
Cons
Little or no communication between departments, weak management team, high expectations, below industry average compensation
Pros
The executive team is very connected to the daily working of the business. They care about all of the employees and work hard to have open communications and to make the company a place where people can thrive. The benefits are good, without being lavish. Hard work is noticed and rewarded publicly every month. There is a sharp focus on high levels of customer service and business integrity, which is very important to me.
Cons
It seems like the board is not as helpful as they could be, not pushing the company to be more aggressive. I would also like to see more energy given to help employees grow professionally - like a mentoring program.
Pros
Great people and culture. Decent pay.
Cons
Not much to complain about. Maybe adding parental leave as a benefit.
Pros
Company trusted employees, moved fast because we were empowered to innovate and make decisions without too much red tape. Customers were highly valued.
Cons
The workload was a little bit heavy but rewarding overall.
