Terrible management and culture

Pros

Office in central location. Just because I couldn't leave this field empty.

Cons

Worst management I've ever had. Objectives are unclear and continuously shifting, micromanaging, blame culture, and incredibly long hours. Nobody knows how systems really work because people come and leave every 6 months/1year. Benefits are non existent and certainly this is a place where you want to stay, let alone build a career. The worst choice of my life.

It isn’t as bad if managements mood swing is on the upside which still is not very collaborative or sensible

Cons

Just don’t do it. Can’t win, can’t voice your opinion (positive or negative in a constructive manner). The turnover is high and the expectations aren’t realistic especially without viable resources.

Excellent level of engineering. Generally very smart and fun people. Highly competent technical contributors right up to the highest levels. Good pay. Hybrid working.

Cons

Chronically understaffed Technical contributions heavily bottlenecked through very few gatekeepers Lots of technical debt without the time or focus to eliminate it. Distinct culture of secrecy at higher levels with good news communicated extremely well but bad news suppressed. Startup-vibe (lack of consistency, impossible to specialise, tight deadlines): Might be a pro or a con depending on how you feel.
