      Pros

      Opportunity to serve young people. Some of the staff are loving and inspiring.

      Cons

      Vindictive and dysfunctional leadership. Staff aren't given the training and support they need. Youth aren't safe, especially those with mental health problems. Victimization occurring while in the program is mishandled and there can be a "blame the victim" attitude from the top down when it comes to female victims. The only exception is the anti-trafficking program.

      Pros

      Benefits, serving the youth and assisting them, hours are good, front line workers look out for each other and it feels like a team environment.

      Cons

      Management are disconnected from front-line workers. Check-ins and appraisals are now focusing on what you are doing wrong where as before it was positive and as well as what can be improved. Recently there has been a change in management across the organization and its definitely for the worst. All they care about is statistics and the number of new youth that come through the doors rather then the work that we are doing with the existing youth and how much support they may need

      good work life balance and benefits. The vision of the organization to help homeless youth is very worthy.

      Cons

      Terrible salary, senior management that is disconnected from the reality of fundraising.
