Pros

It's growing, so witnessing the growth is great and it feels empowering, like you're involved in something remarkable, especially as there have been major developments product-wise in the past couple of months. Everyone is very supportive, hard-working and wants the growth of the company in Europe to be a success. Our Managing Director is probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, which is coupled with the fact that he's probably a genius, but he'd never admit it. I'd recommend Crossvale Europe to anyone that wants to get their teeth into cutting edge technology for enterprise modernization, especially if you're interested in Red Hat products. The company is very customer centric in that we pay a lot of attention into providing the best solution for the customers, highly customized, so you'll get insight into lots of different verticals and see the overlaps and differences in them, which can be interesting in itself. There are a lot of different company cultures out there and you'll get exposed to many different flavors.

Cons

There may be some cons for people that want to be told exactly what to do but the level of flexibility that is given to be able to "get on with it' will appeal to self-starters and those that are proactive.

Pros

I am sitting here trying to think of one but I CAN NOT.

Cons

The environment is so toxic is seeps to your personal life. You come home angry and frustrated. The company has a high turnover rate. I mean very high 50% (They don't think it is a problem or even know how to measure it). When I started at the end of last year, I was optimistic. Today, I am counting the days until I get a new job just like most of us. People are fired on the spot without any regard to professionalism for absolutely nothing. Your pay might be decreased because the company is "not doing so hot." All of this negativity and unprofessionalism comes from the "CEO" who is bipolar and unprofessional to a fault. I am surprised he hasn't gotten sued yet. If you are a H-1 visa holder they will work you to death. Unless you are extremely desperate DO NOT CONSIDER this "company." Plus, if you have any problems there is no real "HR" to discuss your issues with you. Since January 50% of my colleagues have left the company and they were really good people.

Pros

The people you work with are nice and make you feel welcome. I liked the building we were in. I was able to learn a little about a new technology that I hadn't heard of before. The technical managers are technically competent, which is nice. I've worked with managers before that didn't understand the detailed, technical aspects of the job.

Cons

Conor Brankin is a sleeping volcano, you don't know when he's going to erupt. I saw him laughing and joking with people one moment and another he was literally yelling at salaried employees for coming in at 9:00 am, saying that they better not walk out the door before 6:00 pm. It makes for an unstable and stressful working environment.
