Pros

My peers were incredibly supportive and made the day-to-day more bearable. There’s strong earning potential in the role if you’re able to meet aggressive targets. Fast-paced environment where you can learn a lot quickly.

Cons

Extremely toxic environment, especially between AEs and BDRs — constant gossip, tension, and lack of mutual respect. Management is disconnected, unapproachable, and heavily micromanaging. Feedback often comes off as condescending rather than constructive. Leadership fosters a hostile work culture, talks negatively about employees, and openly discourages work-life balance. Unrealistically high expectations with little support or empathy from leadership. Only 13 PTO days for the entire year — no separate sick days, and you’re not allowed to take any time off in December. Very little flexibility or understanding around personal boundaries or mental health.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we’re glad to hear that you found support among your peers and saw value in the learning opportunities and earning potential, we are genuinely sorry to hear that your overall experience fell short of expectations. We do take concerns about our work culture, leadership approach, and employee well-being seriously. The points you raised around team dynamics, leadership communication, and work-life balance are deeply important to us as well. And as such, we are always looking to improve in areas that support a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment. Thank you for your time at CyberFOX and we wish you the best in your career.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Feedback like this matters, and I am sorry that you felt like you were treated unfairly. Favoritism has no place at CyberFOX and is not part of the culture we’ve worked hard to build. Recognizing and rewarding people who show up and do great work is important to us. In December, following our growth equity investment, we shared an equity payout with every employee to recognize the collective effort across CyberFOX. It was a meaningful moment for me as CEO and the rest of the leadership team. Like any high-growth company, we sometimes have to make difficult staffing decisions. We don’t take those lightly. We invest in our people, offer second chances where possible, and our retention remains strong compared to others like us in our space. Thank you again for the feedback. I take it very seriously. — David Bellini, CEO, CyberFOX

Pros

Get to work side by side and learn from some big names in the MSP industry in leadership. So much knowledge and experience you can learn from them if you are willing to ask. You will be hard-pressed to find another executive team that is as transparent and willing to share - the only bad question is the one not asked. You are constantly encouraged by all levels of management and your peers to speak up, if you find a gap - let's figure a way to solve for it, or encouraged to take that on. You have a lot of control over how much you make. If you are hungry and eager to learn, jump in, and open to mentoring and coaching, you will excel and be rewarded with bigger and bigger commission checks! The culture is one of those places you imagine would be a fun place to work, but it just never worked out. They will take a chance on the right culture fit with no experience and help train you, rather than hire extremely experienced, but aren't a culture fit, or have a "lone wolf" mentality.

Cons

Start-up life isn't for everyone. If you need to work for a company that has every second of every day documented out with a rigid structure - not the place for you.
