Real family friendly feeling at this workplace. Not pressurised to do anything you are not comfortable and you can work at your own pace with development opportunities available

Pros

Not much responsibility, easy to sort shifts, left to just call people and then leave when you're done. Great for some extra money after college down the road.

Cons

Not much progression other than being a team leader and a bit of a slog to get through the shift but it's easy work.

Pros

Caring, flexible, friendly, open, honest workplace culture. I work from home, supporting my family. If any aspect of work is not to my liking, or my personal circumstances may impact my work in some way, I can discuss with any team leader or manager and they do their best to accommodate. Employee Ownership has not changed so much our way of working compared to before being employee owned, because our ethos was always to learn together as colleagues about the best way to approach our work. I feel my opinions are valued and look forward to more years of success at DJS.

Cons

Wages are around or above National Living Wage, which works for me. As zero hours, work can be light at certain times of the year, but this is communicated clearly, and I have always had DJS as my main job, with my second job in hospitality fitting in nicely around this.
