Pros

Some of the people at DLT are very nice and pleasant. The have a dollar Redbull machine. Nice building too. Great outdoor courtyard to take your lunch.

Cons

The pay. DLT needs to understand that the workers here simply just want to get paid more. For VP's and up, this place is quite comfortable with fat salaries and a strong company future. Hear this, the company pays for an annual vacation to go on if you make your goal, yet, the workers really just want to get paid more. The company puts out a monthly sugar mountain power hour where you get candy and Redbulls up the wazoo, yet the workers really just want to get paid more. The company gives you a pin with real diamonds on them dependent upon the amount of years you've dedicated to the company, yet the workers just want to get paid more. At company meetings, the only thing you ever hear about is how great our company is doing, how solid the future outlook appears and how the company is investing and expanding all over. Well, that's great but why isn't my bank account expanding too? Why are you paying me just enough to rent out a basement and barely live life when you constantly tell me at quarterly meetings how much you care and appreciate my hard effort? I don't get. As sales reps, you put in hard work and dedication in. You bring in deals with margins several hundred thousand dollars thick, yet, the compensation your receive from those deal is roughly two digits in size. You put in time, hard work, dedication, and how are you rewarded? By the company taking away your casual dress days and making you sign a noncompete. I don't get it. Oh and thats another thing, even though the company invested thousands of dollars so every employee could have a laptop, you're not allowed to work remotely at home unless special circumstances considered and you've been there for at least 5 years. This company loses valuable talent all over the place. Why? Because people go where they are paid better. It's that simple. Virginia is a hard state to live in. Don't work for DLT if you actually wish to prosper in Virginia. DLT is simply a stepping stone to get to the next better place.

Pros

If you are looking for a company that likes to party and drink then DLT is your place. Its basically a frat house with not much respect for women

Cons

There is a level of racism of you are not white with blue eyes. There is always some level of talk about sex and drinking . And opportunity for growth is almost non existent!

Pros

If you are starting your career this is a great place. DLT 101 is a fantastic program to give you the lay of the land. Also there are fringe benefits such as lots of food and activities outside work.

Cons

Plantation system. Pay for employees who are actually making it happen is miniscule compared to what the managers are getting paid. It is actually disgraceful. Several people that leave are shocked at how much they were underpaid. To call the HR department very unprofessional is an understatement.. Some people are allowed to get away with everything while others are micromanaged to bits. And if you don't like to get hit on this isn't a good place to work. Additionally, as cloud technologies become more prevalent resellers are going to get squeezed out of the market so I am not sure this is going to be a great place for the future even if there were opportunities for vertical movement.
